Ella Fans, DO I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU! Ella Enchanted is becoming a movie! I was personally crushed discovering this, probally cause I wanted to be Ella, but hey, thats life. Ella Enchanted stars Anne Hathaway The Princess Diarys and Hugh Dancy Black Hawk Down, and directed by Tommy O'Haver. [br][br]Am I ever pumped![br][br]I read Ella Enchanted in third grade and I am still in love with it, and I'm in grade eight now. Gail has also written another book, but the name escapes me. Another good author is Meg Cabot, CHECK OUT ALL AMERICAN GIRL it rocks![br][br][br]Toodles, Danielle

I first received Ella Enchanted in the third grade. It was my favorite book then and even now, five years later, I still can't put it down!

It's the best book I've ever read! I just love how it was written! Ella is not a dull character and she actually gets to know the prince instead of just riding off with him like in all those other fairy tales. You actually feel that you're right next to her. It is beautifully and comically written and I wish I could write like that. I wish I could write period haha.

This was the best book I ever read, but I was so disapointed when it ended I didnt want it to be over. I have read it l probably 5 times now its one of my favorites. I hope the movie is at least half as good. My favorite part in the book is the sliding down stair rails. I really got into the book and could imagine everything.
fan of ella (12/26/02)

I loved the book ella enchanted. It touched every emocion. I hope in the future there will be a sequel! I can't wait to see the movie, except I don't think it will be as good as the book, as they never are. I was also kink of shock to hear that the person playing ella is 20, I imagined ella to be under 15. Anyway it's a great book... so great I think I'll go read it again right now.... bye ~~~ Thanks for the great book!!

I really, really love this book!
My favorite quote from it is probably.

<< "This fear of heights is an affliction. Especially," I[Ella] added, "as I've grown taller." >>

It's my absolute fave of all time, and a great read, whether you're ten or 110 (okay, so you don't get that old usually, but go with me here)...

This book was great, but if you want to read a better book you should read The Two Princesses of Bamarre. Every book I read by Gail Carson Levine keeps getting better and better! I'm dissapointed though that Mia in Princess Diaries is playing Ella. I imagined Ella much more younger than she is and looks (somewhere around 12-15).

This is my favorite book. But I don't own it! Errrrrr. Where can I find it online???
