PS: I Love You
What's not to love reading a story about Books, Love, Surviving a loss, finding something to hold onto.
One of my favorite rom-com's is PS I Love You & although this is very different, there are echoes of it. A loved one passes yet manages to see his love through his loss through books! I Loved It!

A gift I'd love to get!
I love reading books about books and the impacts they have on people's lives. This book is the closest to perfection in that category I have read. Because of this book, I am considering selecting books for family and friends that made me think of them! This book was uplifting and validated the power of books to change lives. BRAVO!

Fun book
This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page is just a fun read. Matilda (Tilly) Nightingale (isn't that just a great character name!) receives a gift from her late husband of a book every month. The first month is a cookbook and Tilly gets back to cooking for her sister. Archie is the owner of the bookstore where Tilly picks up her monthly book and he has a cat, Georgette, and two employees who all become friends over the course of the year. Tilly begins to find her new life. She works as an editor in a publishing house but really isn't happy there. When she comes into some money from her late husband, she quits her job. This gives her the opportunity to really explore the books and she travels to Bali with her sister and to Paris on her own. In Paris she goes to the famous Shakespeare Book Store, attends a book club and meets members of a grief group who quickly become her friends. There are lots of laughs, especially when she tries camping with her friend Rachel and things go terribly wrong. There's also some sadness and just when you are afraid Tilly isn't going to move on with her life, there is a little twist. Perhaps Joe was really leading Tilly to a new life. A very fun read I loved the book.

A Delight to Read
This Book Made Me Think of You is a tribute to the healing power of books. Tilly is grieving the loss of her husband Joe, who has arranged for her to receive hand selected books after his death. Each book Joe has chosen helps Tilly through her grieving journey. This book is a story of love and grieving. This book's genre is indicated as romance, but it is so much more. This may be the first "romance" book that I have ever enjoyed.

Book Lovers Dream
This book is a book lover's dream … heartwarming, especially for those who love adventures and getting surprise books as a gift. I enjoyed the journey with Tilly as she sets out on an unexpected set of new experiences,

A book about grief and books
I love books and especially love books about books. Tilly's husband dies at a very young age, but knows Tilly loves books, so has left her a book a month for the next year. I enjoyed the reading recommendations at the beginning of each month and the story of each book Tilly received. Loved getting to know everyone. Highly recommend.

An Ode to All Things Books
"'But isn't that one of the great things about fiction?' he says. 'It's an escape. Somewhere to go when you don't want to be where you are.'"
I ADORED #thisbookmademethinkofyou by @libbypagewrites. It's an ode to readers, lovers of books, books, bookstore and even libraries. Matilda (Tilly) Nightingale is grieving the death of her husband, Joe. Joe, seemingly the most intuitive and thoughtful husband ever, has left Tilly a year of books. (Such a terrific idea!!) Each month, she visits Book Lane, the bookstore owned by Alfie Lane, to pick up the book and letter that Joe has left for her. Would you be surprised if I told you that every book Joe has picked is absolutely perfect? Tilly's favorite childhood book b/c Tilly has not been reading during Joe's illness. A book about running b/c that was something Tilly and Joe used to do together. A cookbook b/c Tilly can't cook. The books encourage Tilly to travel. And travel she does - to Paris, to Tuscany, to New York...and to Scotland for camping ("'I hate camping. Houses were invented for a reason.'") - after quitting her job.
Tilly's world prior to Joe's illness was fine. Or so she thought. Her grieving year allows her to see herself clearly for the first time, maybe reevaluate herself, things she thought were constants that might need to change. She makes new friends, finds enjoyment in new (and old) things, has new experiences, and finds a new love. It's not easy, and Ms. Page does a terrific job of showing Tilly's grief, her conflicting feelings about life moving on without Joe, and her existential angst.
But, the books! I love that a good bit of the story is centered around the fabulous Book Lane bookstore. Alfie, the owner, is a fabulous character. I love the list of books that open each chapter. Alife is forced to do some changing, too, and he carries his own grief. And Alfie gets Tilly. "Smiling is tiring. 'You don't have to smile if you don't feel like it. Not with me anyway.'"
Take this journey of a year and books with Tilly and Alfie. "Getting back into reading feels like stepping inside the house of a beloved friend she hasn't seen for a long time. It feels like coming home." Indeed.
I'll be giving copies of this book to all of my book-loving friends. Thanks so much to @bookbrowse and @netgalley for the early copy and the chance to read this lovely novel.

Very Lovely Surprise
A very beautifully written book & lovely story.
I won't give too much info about the actual story itself but I loved this book.
You know in the very early pages that Tilly is dealing with sadness & why she is.
The unique way the story unfolds & the gentle & lovely way of telling it just hit the spot for me, took me away from real life issues in our world.
There's books, a bookstore, challenges, inspiration, laughs & some tears.
Loved it!
