This book has made a big difference in my life at a confusing time. It made my problems seem a lot clearer. I learned to love myself before I tried to love someone else. I learned that life will go on. Vanzant has a funny writing style, one that I can relate to. When my girlfriends were going relationship issues, I gave them each a copy, then they passed it on to others. I think this book has helped me more than I ever thought a book could do. Thank you.

I read this book when I was 19 years old. Iyanla Vanzant is a prodigy. You will find it hard to put this book down. The author makes you feel inspired and most importantly, makes it okay to feel the way you are feeling. Through reading this book, I found myself.

i am reading her book and it really sets u apart from ur self. It teaches u the great message that in order to love others..u must have love for urself. I am going through some trash right now between the basement and first floor....and its unbelievable that just as trash accumulates we allow emotional baggage to grow on us, i am thankful that I have the LORD in my life and clear as it seems we are from GOD whether some people choose not to believe and that is the love that sees us through it.

This is a great book.No one has touched my soul like Vanzant.Definitely a woman who has done her relationship homework.

I read this book while I was incarcerated in prison/ It is the best self knowledge book I have ever read. I have never felt so connected with something in my life. I had to buy it for a just divorced friend. I loved it. All the stories are easy to realate with and if not they will make you laugh.

This book has definatly changed my life for the better. I highly reccomend it to anyone who feels lost or lonely or just plain confused! It is comforting, full of wisdom and inspiring on so many levels! I can't praise it enough! Do yourself a favor; open your heart to the love that is staring you in the face, and read this book! You won't regret it, I promise.
