There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, His & Hers. Which means someone is always lying.
When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation.
Someone isn't telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.
His & Hers is a twisty, smart, psychological thriller. A gripping tale of suspense, told by expertly-drawn narrators that will keep readers guessing until the very end.
Do you have a favorite quote from a book?
From Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney - "I learned most of life's lessons the hard way, but making mistakes is how we learn." This quote was at the end of a paragraph and it really stood out. The entire paragraph resonated with me.

To what audience would you recommend The Ghostwriter? Is there another book or author you feel has a similar theme or style?
For me Julie Clark is similar to Ruth Ware or maybe even Alice Feeney. Her books resonate with mystery readers. This would be a good book for an in-person mystery book club to discuss.

I just finished Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney. This was my first Alice Feeney book I read. Well, it blew my mind. I absolutely was astonished at the end . I totally did not see the ending coming. I highly recommend it It reminded me of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, only a lot better....
