RE: Which scene in the book resonated ...
I don't know why but when Amy came back to the hotel on the first night and her father wasn't there and never showed up. I think I would freak out.

RE: At what point did you begin to ...
I was suspicious early on, when the water was running out of the room (my first thought was she is dead), and after that i could not keep the movie "sixth sense" out of my mind... but i could not explain what was going on. It was an interesting story for sure

RE: Do you have a skill you learned from...
Cathyoc I too watch my granddaughters sometimes and am amazed at how much they sound like and have mannerisms of family members they never met. It fills my heart with joy to see my loved ones living on within my newest family members.

RE: Was the book’s ending what you...
I had not envisioned an ending to the story, but feel it was well ended. I enjoyed the ending with the town finally disappearing. It seemed apropos.

RE: Do you have a skill you learned from...
I agree with the reader’s above. I have learned so much from my parents who have passed on. I find myself singing the same songs and telling the same stories to my six grandchildren that my parents told to me. When I hear my 3 year old grandson sing “I love the moon and the moon loves me” just the way my mom sang it to me sixty years ago when I was his age it always melts my heart.

RE: At what point did you begin to ...
When Amy and her father parted after going to the town I thought it was strange that so much time passed before they communicated again. If I had been in Amy’s shoes I would have been frantic wanting to know where my father was. At this point in the story I should have suspected paranormal circumstances but I had no idea until later.

Small county fair each summer when I was in grade school.
