But you can indulge yourself with this book! An interesting story following the lives of four former Harvard roomates leading up to and including their 20th anniversary. The characters have so much depth. I saw a part of myself in each character. It's a story to make you realize that you can't go back to life as it was in college but you can learn from life's mistakes for a better future. Highly enjoyable and addictive read!
The Look of Love: A Piper Donovan Mystery

The Look of Love is a fast paced mystery. Piper, the main character, is likable and relatable. I enjoyed this mystery as it was very light and quick to read, however it was a little predictable in my opinion. I can see this being a very good beach read.

I loved this book, could not put it down! The novel is written from two points of view: Evie's, who tells most of the back story, and Toni's, who brings us to the present time. The story shows how time can truly mend all wounds and how strong the familial bond is. Throw a magical little black dress on top of that and you have got yourself a winner!

In the past I have really enjoyed my First Impressions selections, but I feel that this novel is not my style. I felt that the narrative was very jumpy. Maybe that was what the author intended, however, I felt that it was distracting. I also did not feel an attachment to the characters.

Agent X is an action packed thriller filled with twists and turns on every page. Boyd's writing really keeps you guessing right up until the very end. Action, mystery, and a smidgen of a love story; who wouldn't love this book?

This is a very charming novel! Each of the quirky characters has his or her own storyline and the writer has you routing for them all. This book will make you smile, and quite possibly giggle, while reading it, but also will tug at your heartstrings. I highly recommend it!
