Everyone's (best) nightmare? (4/19/2026)
Who wouldn't want to live in a book store? Princess Tanadelle gets her wish granted. I really enjoyed this fairy-tale for adults book, with just the right amount of magic and fantasy. The characters are wonderful, the story flows beautifuly, and the ending is nicely wrapped up.

This Here Is Love: A Novel
by Princess Joy L. Perry
Worth the read (8/25/2025)
This is a very powerful story of slavery as told from the point of view of a few slaves, from children to adults, as well as a few slave owners. Although the story was very good, I gave it a 3 star review only because the reading was very slow - a lot of the ideas kept repeating and it took chapters and chapters to get the point across. Otherwise, I would recommend this book highly to anyone interested in learning more about the slavery and the atrocities and hardships of those times.
Lessons in Chemistry: A Novel
by Bonnie Garmus
Quirky (5/26/2025)
I really enjoyed reading this book. I love science and I feel that I have a quirky, unique personality. Most of the time I say what I want and feel is right without caring what others will think or say about me, and this personality trait really resonated with me and the main character Elizabeth. Her mannerisms and spunky attitude had me cracking up and cheering her on throughout the book. I can't wait to watch the series - I just hope they were able to represent accurately her amazing character.
