The book was all right but it was mainly about a boy named Leo Borlock it was a long book to read in class I think it is to mushy myself. If you want to kill some time read it.

Stargirl, though I didn't want to read it, did turn out to be a pretty good book. The book is about Stargirl herself and a boy, Leo borlock, which becomes enchanted with her. Satrgirl's popularity goes up and down while Leo figures out if he wants to be popular or to love Stargirl. Stargirl is, in fact, a wonderful book to read. I highly recommend it.

I love this book! It is so good. I really enjoyed it and ask everyone reading this to read it. I had this book at home and never read it, but after I read it I wish I would have read it alot sooner. Thank you for reading this review and I hope you like this book as much as I did.

Stargirl was the best book I have ever read! It was a little confusing at the beginning. After I read a few chapters I understood it better. I totally recommend it to parents who have younger kids. Read the book before bed or in the classroom. It seemed totally real! If you want to read it, it is really good.

Stargirl was a very heart-breaking and caring in the same novel. In this novel there are 2 main characters Leo (the narrator) and Stargirl. When Stargirl first started attending Mica High School no one really excepted her for who she was. Many young and elderly people can relate to the character Stargirl. Everyone thought that Stargirl was a hoax, someone planted in the school to put off a light to make everyone want to have more spirit. For a very long time Stargirl's popularity grew and people wanted to be more like her. When one night the team lost and her since of popularity faded away rather quickly. I have known many people to rise and fall but in this novel the author has a very powerful way of making it come to life in your imagination. Through out the book you can see that the narrator shows sign of his affection towards Stargirl. Stargirl and Leo finally express there feelings for each other. I have also been through that. Then as Stargirl's popularity drastically fades way, to nothing. Then Leo's emotions change, he doesn't want to be with the girl that doesn't care what other people think. He wanted to feel popular again. So they don't talk anymore, its just like an instant thing.

The book Stargirl was good, but confusing at times. Although this novel had an important and powerful message, it just wasn't that great for me. At times the story was hilarious, romantic, exciting, heartbreaking, and upseting but it would also get boring, confusing, and sometimes leave you saying,"Huh?" The beginning was great and I couldn't wait to read on, but by the end of the book, I just wasn't that happy about how the book turned out. It was strange and sad when everyone at school was shunning her for, what I thought, was a stupid reason. So what if she cheered for the other team, that wasn't why their basketball team lost the championship. I think Stargirl should have been excepted for who she was. I know they excepted her in the beginning, but then they just rejected her after she cheered for the other teams. If you ask me, she brought life and color to that boring black and white Wayne Parr school and they should have thanked her for that. Mabe if a sequel was written, it could explain more. I liked the book, don't get me wrong, but it just wasn't what I expected.

This was one of the best books I have read. I think that Stargirl is funny and is realy true in who she is. I mean she had her own way of doing everything she did. She would not do what everyone else would do, but only what she whanted to do. Leo on the other hand was more like every one else he realy didn't like to be different he whanted to be like everyone else. When Stargirl was going out whith Leo I felt that Stargirl could make Leo see what she saw but she couldent. I also was really mad that Stargirl left and didn't come back.

I thought that this book is one of the best books I have ever read! I say that because in my mind i can really see a mental picture of Stargirl doing her crazy things. I encouge other people to read this book! I am a person that doesn't read books that much, lately I just started reading when I mean lately I mean like about two weeks ago. Also Jerry Spinell is so disscriptive when he wrote this book. I hope he will write a sequal to Stargirl.
