A child called "it" is a powerful book. If a small boy can live dispite a mother who basiclly tried to kill him and a poor excuse of a father that wouldn't help him, Could servive and turn into a wonderful man who dispite his childhood speaks out to help others. This is proof that we all can or are capable of over coming any obstical in ower lives......past present or future.

May i just say what an honour it was to be aloud into Dave's world. His story is an inspiration to all of us on how to live a life full of love and happiness. May his story be heard by the world so we can all come to appreciate life and the amazing capacity of the human mind to survive anything.

I uh...the books are so emotional that sometimes its as if i can actually feel his pain....I never thought that children were actually abused like that until I read Dave Pelzer's books....I say special prayers for childern who have to go through torment like that.
