This is a great book, def. recommend it! Great story line and gives hints to what's really going on... Matt goes form a nothing to anyone to , well you will see... The length might discourage but it is amazing! I love all the characters and their plots..

i think it is a great book because of it's plot, adventure, and you can actually see the book in your mind as scene by scene goes by!

I think this book was a very good nancy farmer book, she did a excellent job with the details! it was like I was there! this book made me think of all humans and how cruel we can be to one another..... it was like a story from a dogs point of view, for how cruel humans can be to anything thats not quite human..... the ending was spectacular! I never knew how this book would turn out, but it was excellent!

Well I laugh at all the kids that had to read this book for a summer reading project that is required for most 8th grade to 9th grade advance English in Georgia. I was one of them and I decided to read the book myself. I'm a freshmen and 14. It was very interesting, showing the bad sides of what we thought was good. Somethings are like cloning, as the clone doesn't have to be a clone of a president, but could be a clone of Stalin or Hitler. It has a twist of events but has a hanging end. I believe the book let's you decide the end, which I don't like because I end up having a debate against myself, and end up losing. The morals are strong and hidden, only if you think about it will you find them. One I'm using in my project now, and I personally thought of;

It shows how even if someone is exactly the same, they can be hated for being different.

When i saw the name of this book on my summer reading list, I was not fully pleased. But as i got into the book, it became very iteresting and suspensful. After I finished the book, I realized that it hade become on of my favorite books. Altho long, It goes by fast. The House of the Scorpion is truly a great book. - Kevin

I feel this book was awesome. I read it for my 10th grade summer reading project. It was a very good book including stories from old mexican history that my grandfather used to tell me, like the chupacabra. It was nice to be reminded of them also. The book is on my top favorites list. I read it in two days

This was a great book that, I think, all Sci-Fi fans would love. Definately on my favorites list!
