IT WOULD BE A CRIME TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN!
Stephen Ferguson (09/20/04)

The House of the Scorpion is full of adventure and complex issues that keep you glued to this book. This story is about a clone named Matt whoes purpose is only to give an organ to the original if needed. It tells of the first 14 years of his life and all of the problems that he has to go through. This book is very interesting and I think that anyone would be able to enjoy it regardless of its length.

The House of the Scorpion was a complex, and fascinating book with riveting plot twists that keep you constantly on your toes. This is a sci-fi book that opens your eyes to the actual definition of corruption, prejudice, and the reality of human nature. It deserved 4 stars for all of the above, but the ending was sort of cut off and some elements were confusing, and unrealistic (even for a sci-fi).
