I think the Thief Lord was a fantastic book. Cornelia Funke did a great job writing the book. The whole time you are reading the book you are in suspense. She did a great job with the characters they are so interesting. The book gives a good sense of adventure. I think the book is just as good as the Harry Potter series. I think Cornelia Funke should write a whole series.

Lovely characters, lovely setting, lovely well... just lovely everything... I think that everyone and their 2nd cousin should read this book because it's just so well written. Lucky people who have her coming to their school.... I wish she would come to mine.

This is so far the best book I have ever read. I would recommend it to anyone between the ages of 0 and 200. I am going to meet this author at one of the only 3 schools that she will be visiting in America. Her autograph is the first thing I seek in my first edition book!

I would recommend this book to all young readers between the ages of 10 and 14. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It captured my attention and I really liked the story line.

This exiting story keeps you on the edge of your seats.The group loses and accomplishes so many things. They act like one big family. Uncovering dark secrets, hiding in movie theatres.This is actually a really interesting book, because it puts you in Venice, Italy which is a real location instead of a fake one. It seems like half of it could be based on a true story or maybe even the whole thing.
