Chenneville: A Novel of Murder, Loss, and Vengeance
by Paulette Jiles
Another excellent book (10/18/2023)
Paulette Jiles is a national treasure. Very few authors can draw you into the narrative like she can.I hope she's still writing at 100!
An Absolutely Remarkable Thing

A Remarkable Book (7/6/2023)
What an a terrific kooky heart felt Sci-Fi book. Quite the ride from start to finish it was a page turner for me.
The Endless Vessel: A Novel
by Charles Soule
Quite a voyage (6/26/2023)
The author is a well known graphic novelist and screen writer who's created a fun historical fantasy. A different sort of plot that one's unlikely to have come across before. I appreciate his imaginative mind and would recommend this fun read.
Properties of Thirst
by Marianne Wiggins
Bodies of water (5/10/2023)
Reminiscent of Walter Stegner which is no faint praise..

Irish through and through (4/26/2023)
My goodness this man can write. I thought at first that this would be a slow burner that took a bit of time but was gob smacked to find myself turning page after page. Really brilliant stuff here.
Infinity Gate (The Pandominion, 1)
by M. R. Carey
What on Earth? (4/21/2023)
Start of an excellent "space" opera series with a unique world building take. The characters are well drawn and the writing is first rate. Looking forward to further developments in future books.
