Loved this book! Wonderful to learn more about the Kennedy girls! They were very independent thinkers, especially for the 1940's! The relationships between the siblings was particularly entertaining to read about. The story encompassed many aspects of their lives, loves, accomplishments and disappointments. I will add, though, that I think this book needs editing before it is published. Just a little too long!

This novel grabbed my attention immediately. The story is well-written and I like the authors writing style. Somewhere near the middle of the book, it lost its pace for me. Suddenly, it seemed to plod along until close to the end when the pacing picked back up. I felt like the story could have been better if it was 50-75 pages shorter.

A page turning thriller! Didn't take long to read this book because I couldn't put it down. Very well written, but jumping from one time period to another is not my personal preference. I am rereading this book paying extra attention to these time periods! I think this will make a great movie!

Very well-written novel, but not nearly as light-hearted and humorous as touted by the publisher. It explores some very serious issues.... divorce, blended families, homosexuality to name a few. I am glad that I read it, but expected a very different funny story!

Loved the writing, the multi-generational stories, and the entire premise of the book. There was, however, an issue in the book that I felt either didn't belong or wasn't developed enough for me to understand its relevance to the story. Can't wait to discuss this with others when the book is released!

Loved this book- it was well written and explored the life of a young girl who couldn't descend the stairs alone one day until the next day she was the Queen of England. She was young and inexperienced but soon learned the ways of the Court. great reading that makes me excited for the PBS series airing in January!
