I was born and raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, one of the secret cities of the Manhattan Project. I studied English and Classics in college, and have gone on to get my M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature. My short stories have appeared in publications including Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, Alchemy, Weird Tales, and Strange Horizons.
