About this book

Book Summary

Research reveals that how a couple conducts themselves during a divorce has far greater impact on their children than the divorce itself. Compassionate, clear, and comprehensive, The Smart Divorce is the first trade book to introduce a dignified, highly strategic solution to divorce-the collaborative process, a nationally acclaimed approach that is fast transforming how couples dissolve their marriages, divide their assets, and reinvent their post divorce relationships, particularly when they share custody of their children.

Nice in theory, but
The book is a nice theory, but not practical. The basis is collaborative process encourages better behaviors in divorcing couples. Better behaviors lead to happier children.

The book comes across as condescending. The conclusions suggested made have weak arguments. Of course if you treat your ex-spouse better in front of your children, the children will be less torn.

I felt like Ron Ousky was trying to sell his collaborative divorce process as a magic bullet. It seemed like a way for an attorney to try and make more money without really caring how he did it other than buy his process.

Ron Ousky
Ron Ousky is a weak, milktoast attorney. If you want to pursue your divorce with no controversy, then Ron is your man. He is completely outmatchedd and outwitted by any other attorney, and he is in WAY over his head. If you abide by his book, you will reap the benefit of "giving up the farm, " so to say. Ron is a completely incompetent, worthless weak-minded guy. I would recommend his book and his logic to my ex-wife, so I could reap the benefits of life thereafter. Ron Ousky is a loser...through and through...Don't buy into this trash...

Try to get in touch with this worthless piece of trash attorney. He is located in Edina, MN, and he is pretty much out of touch. He ruined my financial life....Where is he now??? I tried to abide by his worthless book...
Worthless trash advice in an obvious mundane book, I say...Duh...Ron is an idiot...
