Acording to the book's author biography, Bad Twin is the highly-anticipated new novel by acclaimed mystery writer Gary Troup, who is missing, believed dead after Oceanic Flight 815 crashed in mysterious circumstances in 2004.
In reality, this is a marketing ploy by Disney/Hyperion as a spin-off from the TV program "Lost". The book appeared on the show in a number of episodes.
