by Josie Lloyd
Meet Adam and Jules.
Married for nearly twenty-five years and stuck in a rut, their future looks, well, boring.
Then Adam stumbles across a box of old mixtapes he and Jules made for each other when they were young and falling in love. He dusts off his vintage stereo, inserts one of the cassettes, presses "Play" …and the unbelievable happens.
With the power to travel back in time, Jules and Adam can recapture the headiness of falling in love. But they soon realize that visiting the past could be as dangerous as it is addictive, because the temptation to change just a few tiny things is irresistible.
As the consequences start to spiral out of control, can they find a way back to their messy and imperfect, yet glorious, real life? Or will they lose each other forever?
"A stunning time travel romance that doubles as an insightful examination of the little decisions that shape a 25-year marriage… Funny, tender, bittersweet, and ultimately affirming, this is a showstopping tale about learning to embrace imperfection." —Publisher's Weekly (starred review)
"A touching portrait of a marriage…the story is a reminder to live in the present and appreciate the tiny moments that make up a life...A lovely, emotional look at the importance of everyday joys and appreciating what's in front of you." —Kirkus Reviews
"This poignant story from married coauthors Lloyd and Rees (Come Together) is a reminder that love stories can also be in the staying-together part, not just the falling-in-love part." —Library Journal
"I loved this book. I don't know when I've been more vested in a fictional relationship or felt so deeply the hopes and failures of people I'll never meet. It's a brilliant and heartfelt novel about how the mundane decisions of family life shape our futures. A perfect five star read." —Annabel Monaghan, New York Times bestselling author of It's a Love Story
"If you read just one book this year, read this one— a time bending, high concept love story full of nostalgia and "what ifs"—I fell in love with these characters from the first page. One of the most original and moving love stories I've read." —Sophie Cousens, New York Times bestselling author of Is She Really Going Out With Him?

Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees first published together twenty-five years ago with the #1 Sunday Times bestseller Come Together, which was translated into twenty-seven languages and made into a film by Working Title. Josie and Emlyn then wrote a further six bestselling rom-coms together, all published in the UK. Josie has written thirteen other novels in a variety of genres, including The Bright Side Running Club, based on her own experience of breast cancer, which is currently in film development and was published in the U.S., while Emlyn has written a number of thrillers under his own name and as a ghost writer, published in the UK. Just like Adam and Jules in You & Me and You & Me and You & Me, Josie and Emlyn live with their kids and dog by Brighton Beach, but sadly they haven't discovered a hole in the space-time continuum in their garden shed…or at least not yet…
