Reviews

Media Reviews

"Moody and atmospheric...The lush prose, rife with classical allusions, captivates, echoing the brothel's penchant for containing horrors but covering them up in a wealth of gilded detail. Mohamed's fans won't want to miss the mesmerizing lyricality of her latest." —Publishers Weekly

''And What Can We Offer You Tonight is a deep dive into sacred revenge, a vivid, devastating and exquisite story of love and loyalty, among three friends who cannot afford such luxuries. Premee Mohamed offers a meticulously balanced cocktail of heartbreak, compromise and consequence, a mixture whose flavour will seep into your marrow and print itself into your blood forever.'' —L.X. Beckett, author of Gamechanger and Dealbreaker

''Mohamed weaves a most beautiful and powerful spell with a thin crust of gorgeous prose and coy smiles barely hiding the powerful, growing rage beneath. Much like the dead, it's a tale that keeps haunting long after the story ends.'' —Leigh Harlen, author of Queens of Noise
