Mating for Life

Mating for life (3/11/2014)
The mating style of different animals at the beginning of each chapter was an interesting way to tie the book to the title.
I am not sure how why everyone on the family had to have marital problems, even if the author tried to relate it to their upbringing.
Book clubs would have a lively discussion as their is usually someone who could relate to one of the characters. The book did not speak to me however.
The Scavenger's Daughters: Tales of the Scavenger's Daughters, Book One

An heartwarming book. It clearly makes one realize how unimportant material things are. The historical facts were informative.

The House Girl (12/9/2012)
While the subject is interesting I found the weaving in of the sub-plots disjointed and not as developed as they could have been. As a member of a book club, I do not think book clubs would enjoy having this book for discussion. I think there were to many characters in the book, all who could have been developed more.
