The Well
by Catherine Chanter
The Well (3/15/2015)
This book started out slowly, and never really picked up speed. I was confused by parts, as some things were just left hanging.
The Rebellion of Miss Lucy Ann Lobdell
by William Klaber
Interesting topic. (12/14/2014)
I read this book, because I read Neverhome by Laird Hunt. I struggled to read this book, it went slower than I expected it would. Though the misadventures Lucy Ann gets into are sometimes hilarious, it was almost impossible situations. I would suggest this book to a book club, where debating books was a part of the reading. Especially if it is read in segments.
Backyard
by Norman Draper
Gardening Laughs (10/6/2014)
I love a book that makes me laugh out loud as I read it, this was one! The characters were hilarious and played well off one another. The entire town of Livia are gardening for the prize of Greatest Garden. Mystery on every corner as the flowers bloom.
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
by Neil Gaiman
Easily drawn in (9/8/2014)
The book was interesting. I enjoyed the way memories come through as you read. It was like having a conversation as I read.
