The Well

The Well (4/4/2015)
This book has a little of every thing a reader likes. I enjoyed how her words made you feel like you were right there with Ruth.

Because of a family death I have not yet finished this book, but I like the way the author kept you guessing and a unique way of presenting the clues.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved reading about a woman my age.. This book has a little bit of everything. A mystery to solve. memories to sort out and some romance. Loved the chapters titles.
Peking to Paris: Life and Love on a Short Drive Around Half the World
by Dina Bennett
Peking to Paris (3/28/2013)
I found this book to be very boring. I got tired of reading about her car sickness and so on. I'm sure people who are interested in cars and car rallies would enjoy reading the book.
Across Many Mountains: A Tibetan Family's Epic Journey from Oppression to Freedom
by Yangzom Brauen
Across Many Mountains (9/1/2011)
I liked this book. You could tell that the writer really knew what she was writing about. Sometimes the descriptions the details were a little to long and for me that made it a slow read for me. But I learned a lot about Tibet and Buddhism. I really admired the grandmother. Her determination is a good lesson for all. Also I really loved the cover.
