The Night Hunter

The Night Hunter was one of those books that grabbed my attention from the first chapter and never let go. The story follows two sisters who reunite to revisit their childhood home on a remote South African game reserve after years of being apart because of a tragic event in their past.
What starts as a seemingly simple trek with friends and a guide quickly turns into a suspenseful fight for survival. Just when I thought I had figured out where the story was going, another twist changed everything. The South African setting was vivid and added an extra layer of tension and danger to the story.
I especially like Natalie Moss's exploration of the relationship between the sisters and how their past affected the decisions they made throughout the book. The mix of family drama, suspense, and action kept me turning pages.
If you enjoy thrillers with strong characters, unexpected twists, and a unique setting, I recommend The Night Hunter.

An Infinite Love Story (3/27/2026)
I loved this book. I grew up and became a woman during the space race and this book brought back vivid memories of the times and events. It gave me a perspective on the role wives were forced to play, essentially being asked, no told, to present a picture of family bliss no matter the toll the space race was taking on their marriage and family, also. The author did a very good job of showing the challenges women faced in a world where marriage, family and a dutiful wife was all that was expected of young women, juxtaposed against the testosterone of the space race and even broadcast news. The author did a beautiful job of making that struggle come alive while at the same time exploring so elegantly an "infinite" space and an "infinite" love! I would recommend this book wholeheartedly!
