Loved this!!! (5/7/2026)
This book is my favorite read of the year so far! I absolutely love hearing her story from her POV.
Henry Tudor Must Die
by Jillian Laine
Fun Historical Fiction (4/29/2026)
I've never had so much fun reading historical fiction. It was nice seeing them not as rivals, but as a sisterhood formed from a secret society. I also enjoyed reading from different POVs. I can't wait to purchase this book!
Summer of Love
by Kerri Maher
Enjoyable (4/25/2026)
I enjoyed reading this book. I felt the title was very fitting. The POVs of the three women explored their love, whether it was a love for drugs, alcohol, family, or their love life. I look forward to reading more from her.
Feast
by Catherine Kurtz
Enjoyable (4/4/2026)
The storyline was very unique. I loved how vivid the scenes were, so vivid that it almost felt as though I was immersive reading. I enjoyed following Minha's growth. It was a little slow at times, but still a fun read.
The Silent Period: A Novel
by Francesca Manfredi
3.5 star read (12/15/2025)
I enjoyed this book for the most part. There were some very slow moments, but then it would pick back up to regain my interest.

The idea of the book was very interesting to me. For that reason, I would recommend it to book clubs.
Lolita
by Vladimir Nabokov
It was okay (9/24/2025)
This book was extremely hard to get through. While reading, I gave it a 2-star. Upon finishing, I moved it up to a 3-star. While reading, I couldn’t help but to look at it as abusive and criminal. Upon completion and after really thinking about it, I was able to separate the disturbing narrator from Nabokov’s brilliant writing.
