Henry Tudor Must Die
by Jillian Laine
Interesting Take on This Story (5/25/2026)
I have always been fascinated by the life of Henry VIII. I have watched the Tudors and seen Six on Broadway. This story was a good addition to the many versions of his life. I loved how mysticism was incorporated and the feminist aspect of it all. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in this era of English History.
The Silent Period: A Novel
by Francesca Manfredi
Interesting Read (1/2/2026)
I gave this book 3.5 stars. I was captivated by the concept of what the FMC was doing. I never thought that I had understood her motives, until I read Part 2. That is where the book lost me a bit. It was helpful to understand what happened in the story from another character's perspective, but that portion of the book needed to be broken up more than it was.
