A Club of One's Own
by BookBrowse
A Tidy Collection of Facts (8/22/2025)
While seeming a bit generic in terms of a book about book clubs, I actually think that might be a bigger point in its favor; the information is relevant to all book clubs rather than certain types. The book contains a lot of useful information about the creation and maintenance of book clubs, much of which I've never considered before. For anyone looking for guidance from how to market your book club to how to conduct the meetings, this is a succinct one-stop source.
The Sister's Curse
by Nicola Solvinic
Suspenseful and Engaging (6/28/2025)
A well-crafted crime thriller with an element of the supernatural, A Sister's Curse is a blend of suspense with a touch of horror. I enjoyed the many little twists and turns that were uncovered slowly chapter by chapter, and there was just enough character development for the main actors to keep them feeling relatable and me somewhat sympathetic reader.

The tangled lives of everyone in this story are beautifully knotted in a way that is reflective of our own messy reality.

If you're looking for suspense that is wrapped up very neatly with a bow, this isn't it! There will be closure, but it doesn't feel like a totally satisfactory conclusion - which is perfect for this genre.
