Lynn

Great book and series
I read serious literature, but I loved this "young adult" series. I don't know whether to be embarrassed or to gush about how great the book was from beginning to end. I didn't even want to enjoy this book. I read it as part of a book club. I loved the characters and so got into the vampire / werewolf theme. I normally drop a book back into the stack if it even mentions romance in the description, but I fell in love with Edward Cullen. I guess I should stop before I get embarrassing. Read this series, it is wonderful.

Good for starting
This book is really great for exploring this genre. From here you can figure out if vampires are your thing or not. For me personally, I love it, and didn't put it down until I read every page. For the longest time I was obsess over it, then it become a great memory. Really recommend it.

Ahnoyyingg.
So I did enjoy this series quite a bit, before everyone on the face of the planet became obsessed with it! I was reading twilight back when NOBODY knew what the hell it was. So it makes me pretty mad and annoyed these days. People that are like obsessed with this: Get a life please. Its really not that great of a book. Very overrated.

for a collection of randomly strung together letters that form words, it's not bad.
It'll never be taught in highschool English class for it's stellar example of American literature, but if all you're looking for an easy to read guilty pleasure, this book and it's successors will put you in your happy place. It's a cute story about a typical girl next door who finds love when she befriends a mistfit. It's a pretty classic story, except that in this case the misfit happens to be a vampire. It took me a little while to get over the fact that it's really not about vampires, which is what I was looking for when I picked it up. It's about two characters who, against all odds, somehow find a connection with each other. Don't kid yourself, there's a reason why this is categorized as 'juvenile fiction' in your local bookstore. You will not gain any IQ points reading this book, but it's a fun read none-the-less.

Love too fast too soon!
After being in an outstanding American Literature class for over a year, I personally believe that Stephanie Meyer's Twlight series is a foolish example of what literature is. In my eyes, young Bella falls "irrevocably in love" much too soon and the book is way to unrealistic-even for a world filled with vampires and wolves! I would advise anyone to read a great American classic over this book!

Horibble character
Bella's character is horrible. There is nothing that should appeal to anyone. She is stupid, and not attractive apart from maybe on the outside.
