Fantastic and Heartwarming Story!
This was the perfect read and definitely 5 stars. It was like being wrapped up in a fluffy, soft, and cozy hug. I always love these kinds of stories with found families, magic, love and more. It, for sure, met my hopes and expectations for a great read that lifted my spirits and made me want to spend more time in this world. This is one story you shouldn't miss!

Exactly the uplifting book I needed
Some might say that this book was light or predictable, and indeed, cozy fantasies can be described fairly with these words. However, in a stressful world, I really appreciated the author's hopeful, warm writing voice. The core of the plot is a love story between Evie and her foster daughter, Ruby, and the story plays out in a magical house in a whimsical village. I loved the way Evie's relationship with Ruby was portrayed, and I found myself charmed by the house, the village, and the people. There were definitely some surprises in the story. The book also raised good questions about how we become the people we want to be. I was impressed with the way the author humanized and held out hope for some of the less savory characters. The writing was uncluttered, and the book was just a pleasure to read. Another author, Katherine Center, writes (in defense of romance novels) that a predictable arc doesn't make a story less valuable; rather, much of the fun lies in the optimism of the reading process and the details of how the story plays out. These ideas apply perfectly to The Reimagining of Thornwood House, too. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The Reimagining of Thornwood House
"The Reimagining of Thornwood House" is bursting with whimsy and charm. The mother daughter relationship is wonderfully written, and the villagers they befriend add extra dimension. The mix of the mundane and the magical creates such a cozy atmosphere.

Imagination and Magic
I loved this book. The characters were very likeable and easy to relate with. Evie's ability for magic didn't overwhelm her character like some fantasy stories do. I loved all that she did to help Ruby and get the adoption approved. I loved her courage and wisdom. I think it would be a great book for a book club discussion.

Fun, engaging and enjoyable read
Being completely honest, I haven't finished this book yet but am totally engaged in the story while about 1/3 of the way in. Being a horticulturalist, I'm loving the nature and land connections. I love the house as its' own character. It is one of those books that when I put it down, I don't feel stressed, sad or disappointed.

The relationships developed as part of the story are sweet and heart warming. I loved every part of this story and am so pleased to recommend it to other readers. This book is Spellbinding
I am not a fantasy reader in general, but I enjoyed this book very much. I'm not sure if the audience is meant to be YA or adult, but I think readers across this spectrum would like it. The characters are interesting and engaging, and the story moves along quickly enough for those of us who are not fantasy fans to not lose interest. I particularly liked the descriptive passages of the plant life in the forest and town, and I liked being drawn in by the relationships of the characters.
