This book is awesome. It tells you not to go with the crowd. Be your own individual. I would recommend this book to anyone. It celebrates diviersity. This book was not confusing or disturbing, but was fun to read and very interesting!

I am eleven years old and I thought Stargirl is a great book and it is funny.

Stargirl is an amazing book about an amazing girl. It should serve as an inspiration to all those experiencing first love. Everybody needs a Stargirl in their life. I'm glad I've found mine.

This book is so awesome!!! I love the romantic tale of Leo and Stargirl. She reminds me of myself! she;s always happy never upset, but when she does get upset she lets it all out!!!!

love ya'll , Bae*~!

I just love the free spirited fun in this book and it made me appreciate the diversity and individuality. I love the way she went back to being just who she wanted to be even when it was not "popular"!

This is a really special book that has a lot to communicate to anyone sensitive to its secrets. Because it has a male narrator and a female lead character, there is a wonderful mix of perspectives. The ending is brilliant, and the best part of the book. Stargirl's magic returns in a kind of 'Pied piper' fairytale ending...but she and Leo don't get the happiness they could've, because he just didn't quite have what it took to love Stargirl.

Catherine Hendricks

The book called Stargirl by Jerry Spenelli is one of the best books I have ever read. It shows the true personality of the characters as I thought they were real. It is amazing how Jerry Spinelli captures the feelings, actions, and anxieties of the modern day high school student. Jerry Spinelli is a great writer and I think he should write more books that are like or follow Stargirl.
