Having survived a life-threatening bout of cancer myself, I found this book went right to the heart of the issues you are faced with. The feelings and the way they are expressed are so genuine. I had a hard time getting through it. I found myself crying during the sad and happy parts. It should be required reading for Middle School students!

I feel that this book will touch the lives of many people. Not only those that are diagnosed with cancer, but those who any disiease or have loved ones who may suffer. Lance is a great example of letting nothing hold you back, from a dream that you heart most desires no matter what the circumstances maybe.

this is a very good book

This book made me take the inside look to what Lance went through, because he's so thorough; he tells the truth without making it sound like he wants sympathy or anything, because he tells it like it was. He's gone through testicular cancer, chemotherapy; and he came through both, which is awesome. Then coming back to race, and winning three straight Tour de France titles...sounds like a champion to me.

I think this book is a remarkable book for people who have suffered from this horrible disease killing many of people day to day.I believe this man is of great character. i admire his courage and strength.

It's good!
I think this book has a different insight to Lance's life. Before I thought he was just about the bike that he didn't have a real life. After I thought he was a good person.

I read the book during the Tour de France this year and while my mom was undergoing chemo for lung cancer. I believe the story of his ordeal with testicular cancer, the weighing of his options, his emotions through the ordeal and afterwards really helped me with seeing positives in difficult situations. His mom is a real hero behind the legendary Armstrong. Their mother-son story is as strong as any other aspect of the book.
