This book reminded me greatly of my first love, whom is my husband. It is a true love story and was a very enjoyable, short read. I believe it is the perfect book to read on a quiet Saturday afternoon.

I recommend this book to anyone looking to get into a good love story. The main character, Lon, has a first love and remains loyal to this woman throughout his life, even when she is engaged to the rich man from the neighboring town. The book is very descriptive in it's scenes. The reader can get a great image placed in his or her head about the scenery around the beautiful house that Lon lives in. It was a great book to read and I highly recommend it.
