Age 11,

What a intense book, it always kept me reading, I stayed up so late reading Inkheart, Meggie and her father Mo go to Aunt Elinors house after geeting a surprise visit from a past friend, then when Mo is kidnapped Meggie, Elinor, and the past friend set off to save him, it was chilling but warming, it was beautiful, I have to say!

I absolutly loved the book, i never read any books because i hated reading so i got it on tape then after listening to it I read it. I'm 16 years old. My parents told me to start reading so i thought picking this book would be easy and a little fun so then i read it. After that i read it again and again. I loved this book! My friends thought i was childish for reading the book, then i told them to read it and they didn't admit to liking the book, but i saw it in their eyes when they were reading that they liked it.

I never particularly liked fantasy books or ones about talking animals but I didn't know Inkheart was a fantasy book(with a bit of magicrealism) and when I got reading it I found out fantasy books weren't so bad after all.

Inkheart is a really good book. I got it for my birthday in 2004 and I thought it looked boring, but when I got reading it, it was totally cool. I can't believe some people think it's not her best book! Inkheart is the best book in the world and Funke the best writer.

Age: 10 (Grade 5)

I read this book when I was 9, in grade four, it is an extrodinarily well written book, I loved it. As soon as I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I love the whole story, and the ending because I can re;ate to it, I'm not going to tell yuo what is it! I've read The Thief Lord and Dragon Rider as well, they are also some notables. I have recomended Inkheart to: My friends, my grandma and my mom all said they loved it very much. Inkheart is like Harry Potter so if you like it your gunna like this! Inkheart is for all ages I would say. So get reading!

Age: 12 (Grade 7)

The book Inkheart is simply incredible. It was like looking through a window into another world. The unexpected twists in the plot made me feel like I was walking through a maze. And I loved all the characters because they were all so very interesting. My favourite was
Dustfinger because of the air around him. Sad, distant, lonely, adventurous, and always trying to make things light. The thing I didn't like so well about the story is that I wasn't very satisfied with the ending.

But all the same, I suggest you to take your time and have a look at the world hidden beneath the covers.

For Cornelia Funke didn't just wrote a book. She had created a world.
