This book was one of the only books that I have read that I have wanted to read over and over. I couldn't put it down. I read it a lot of countless times. Cornelia Funke is a really good author. This is an extraordinary book! READ IT!
Sadie's Mom

I bought this book one night when my daughter was out of town for a few days as I missed her greatly. I read a few pages to see what I would be handing over to my 10 year old and I instantly got hooked! Anyone would love this book and find it hard to put down and once you finish it you regret having read it so fast. I finished its 530+ pages in two days and as my daughter walked back through the front door from her brief trip I was wanting her to sit down so I could read it all over again aloud to her. Dare I read it aloud? Excellent story!

Ms Funke is an amazing story-teller. I highly recommend this, and all of her books. Her stories are enjoyed in this house by 4 kids, ages 12 to 60!
