What readers think of Eragon, plus links to write your own review.

I love this book. yes it have some in common with The Lord of the rings, but name me one fantasy-book who hasn't. The only thing I would corect is that the blue dragon is mine. shame on you Eragon... and the fact: Christopher Paolini was 15 years at the time he made it up, I'm 16 now... I want to make such stories too!!! I'm totally happy the world is gone in fantasy-mode now, 'caurse then people think I'm only half as weird... (not becaurse I think Eragon is a great book...). the only thing bad about it (the word gone in fantasy-mode... in case a had lost you...) is that some authors get their works out on the market only because it's fantasy... but Christopher Paolini isn't one of them... Eragon is a great book!

I thought it was a good book, and is even greater to be written by a 15 year old. I never noticed the realationships between Eragon and Lord of the Rings and honeslty i dont care. It was a great fantasy story and I am sure Paoloni came up with most of the story.
P.S Maybe readers shold wait to read the other books to see if he really copied Lord of the Rings.

This book is the BEST!!!!! I love it how Eragon has a dragon, This is an excellent book by Christopher Paolini and was very useful in my English Book Review. Paolini has created a world in which you will find yourself wanting more! Thankfully Eldest will be out soon, as well as the Eragon movie. How thrilling!

I think that all of you who think this book is rated lower then a four are being too hard on the kid. His ideas may not be totally genuine, but this can be said about any fantasy book. I've read the book twice and i am eager to read the next one. Please Paolini hurry i'm growing impatient for the next book, i may have to read Eragon for the third time, which wouldn't be bad, but i'd like something new. I'm 15 and would suggest this book to anyone who likes fantasy and a fun filled plot.

Paoloni is a great writer and he defidently DID NOT copy from The Lord Of The Rings. His style is completely his own. He wrote an awsome book that I would recomend to all fantasy lovers, and even to those who hate fantasy.

This book is a brillant book and is a new and easier to understand version of Lord of the Ring. The next book has promise to reveal things that we think will happen and more. Good on you Christopher Paolini and you are only 15. Good on you mate can not wait for the next on.

I love this book, for tons of reasons- the author was so young, showing that at 14 he had the intellectual capacity to write something so AMAZING- it's long, but not drawn out, and the characters are awesome and defined, as well as the plot being complex but well-worded. I just might hire a rocket to the bookstore the second Eldest comes out- read this, you'll love it!

This book is great. I can't wait until the sequel comes out!!! When it does, I'll be first in line to buy it. I will be done reading it soon after that
