I am a first reader of Dan Brown's books. It was magnificently written. It kept me wanting to read until the end was reached and the mystery solved. I loved learning more about the history of religion and facts before not know to me. I hope that Mr. Brown keeps writing as I will continue reading his works. In fact I intend to purchase several of his older books. Much of the history in this book, was told to me before by a religious person in the know.

I for one loved this book. I found the extensive amount of research as well as the fictional story wound around it eye opening. The other side of history, as Teabing called it, hadn't been revealed to me previsouly and it was interesting to hear not only about old pagan religions and their ties to today, but also another version of jesus's life. i loved this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a good mystery as well as an enjoyable history lesson.

Facinating and exciting. I learned quite a lot about Catholicism, art and history reading this book. I highly recommend this enjoyable book.

Dan Brown is no Hemingway; let's get that out of the way immediately. Despite his less than sophisticated prose style, however, he is a gifted storyteller! The sheer amount of interesting information he weaves into this tale is astounding. His history lessons on the sacred feminine and christianity in general are fascinating and refreshing. I'm going out now to get Angels and Demons.

I was blown away by the "Code"....This is the first book I have ever read by Dan Brown....I heard him on Public Radio....and was so interested..I went to my book store and bought the last copy they had....needless to say, I am reading Angels and Demons....and will read the Deception!!!!

Exceptional writing....I especially like the short chapters! Even tho' I am not able to put it down....I certainly can't read it when I am trying to go to sleep!!!!..........GOOD JOB!!!!!!!

This book is pure genius. After reading the book I looked at some of the facts brought up in the story and they are amazing to see with my own two eyes, As Mary Magdaline being in the Last Supper, because that is clearly a women in the painting. It makes one realize that through-out history how do we not know the Bible has never been rewritten.

This book is well written, well researched and expounds a very interesting religious theory, as well as being a thoroughly good read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a fast moving story-line with unexpected twists and turns.
