Saffy's Angel has magic in it, to quote Natalie Babbit. It draws the reader into a world both real and fantastical, full of unforgetable characters who we grow to love more by every page. I've read it so many times I've lost count, and everytime I cherish it a little more than I did the last. This is a book for everyone, young and old, serious and silly, a wonderful story for the times.

I thought that this was a very good book. It has suspence in it, action, and it is also funny in some parts of it. In the beginning when Saffron has just began to read and she was reading the color chart on the wall, but saw all of the other childrens namea but not hers, I think that is when the suspence comes in. I think when she stowed away in Sarahs car that that was were the action came in.
