I enjoyed reading this book. I have been to Singapore and I loved reading about the places I have been there. I enjoyed all the info on soy sauce. Very informative. Good story and loved all the family dynamics. Would like to know more of her story.
The Last Girl: A Maeve Kerrigan Novel
by Jane Casey
Will keep you guessing(5/22/2013)
I haven't read any of the author's other books yet, but I enjoyed this one. Its kind of 2 stories in one, a murder of a mother and daughter and a series of gang murders. I loved the plot of the 2 murders but I wanted more info on the other set. Maybe another book. Lot of …more twists and will keep you guessing.(less)
The Spy Lover
by Kiana Davenport
Loved this book(12/20/2012)
I loved this story about the Civil War. The book made me feel I was there, and I felt the characters pain. Just a haunting, beautiful read.
This book is even more amazing because its based on a true story. Very informative about the difficult times and hardships of people during that period of time.
The Face Thief: A Novel

Tides of War: A Novel
by Stella Tillyard
Great book(12/23/2011)
Although I don't usually read books about war, I love a good historical book. This one fits the bill. Great story. Good characters that hold your attention.
Powerful book. Sometimes painful to read but so engrossing you can't put it down.
A Bitter Truth: A Bess Crawford Mystery
by Charles Todd
Good historical fiction(9/8/2011)
A historical mystery set during World War 1. Really enjoyed the book, fell in love with an Australian chap, hope the author uses him again. A good clean read but not boring. Will read more books from the author.
Although I don't normally read historical fiction, I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely recommend it. Wonderful story, with great characters. Rich in history without being boring.
