I have enjoyed reading Henry and Rachel. It has a quiet way of drawing you in. It is told from multiple points of view and unfolds in a meandering sort of way. Quite lovely.

I liked this book and found it a breezy read. Can't wait to share it with some girlfriends but not before trying at least four of the recipes included at the beginning of some chapters

Ginny is such an original character--I felt great empathy for her. She reveals the importance of always reaching for your best and never judging the actions of others as we often do not know the full story.

This was a tough read for me, and that is disappointing because at first glance, it seems it would be a fascinating read. A bit too academic for my tastes.

I was delighted with this book, both the heartwarming stories and the wonderfully descriptive use of language. I found it to be just a joyful book to read, not because every story is joyful, but because it left me feeling so grateful for the pets (and the people) I've been blessed to know in my life.

A decent read, not great. I was expecting a book that I absolutely could not put down, and while I found the chapter endings urged me to continue, the tug was not so great that the laundry didn't get done.
