A book to call in sick for (9/24/2018)
I used a sick day to finish this book... deeply moving and compulsively readable. I'm not good a writer, and cant do it justice at all - just read the book. You won't regret it.

Wedlock: The True Story of the Disastrous Marriage and Remarkable Divorce of Mary Eleanor Bowes, Countess of Strathmore
by Wendy Moore
Highly Overrated (3/29/2010)
The summary on the back of the book was much better, more exciting and more titillating than the actual book. It wasn't well written, I found myself counting how many times the author used the word "lately" in one chapter (nineteen). It had great potential but it failed miserably. Very disappointing............
