ALA announce winners of Newbery, Caldecott etc

The American Library Association has named its annual winners of more than 10 awards.  Most notably, the Newbery Medal goes to Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Voices From a Medieval Village by Laura Amy Schlitz (Candlewick) and the Caldecott Medal goes to The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick (Scholastic).
