Harry Potter Book 7 Publication Date Announced

Harry Potter Book 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be simultaneously released in a number of English speaking markets on sale July 21. In the USA the hardcover will be priced at $34.99, the first price increase since 2003. Amazon have already announced they will sell the hardcover at $18.89 and some independent stores in the USA have said that they won’t carry the title because of deep discounting by other retailers on and offline. Four editions of the book will be released simultaneously in the USA: A children's hardcover, an adult hardcover (same book, different cover), a gift edition and an audio version.
