Gene Wolfe has been awarded the first Fuller Award. The award is for a lifetime contribution to literature and is presented by the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame. Wolfe, whose latest book Home Fires is just out in paperback, will be presented with the award on March 17th at an evening event in his honor.
The Chicago Literary Hall of Fame’s mission is to "promote and celebrate Chicago's rich and proud literature tradition by honoring the authors whose words have best captured the essence of our city."
