Print Review

Glenn Greenwald is a Constitutional law attorney, and author of the political blog, "Unclaimed Territory." He has written for American Conservative magazine and appeared on a variety of television and radio programs, including C-Span's "Washington Journal," Air America's "Majority Report" and Public Radio International's "To the Point." His reporting and analysis have been credited in The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Salon, Slate and a variety of other print and online publications.

"Now I am going to tell you how we are not going to fight communism. We are not going to transform our fine FBI into a Gestapo secret police.... We are not going to control what our people read and say and think. We are not going to turn the United States into a right-wing totalitarian country in order to deal with a left-wing totalitarian threat." - President Harry S Truman, in a speech regarding the threat posed by domestic communism; April 1950.

There are likely to be many more books coming on this subject over the coming months - for example Conservatives Without Conscience by John Dean, to be published in July.
