Other than the fact that Mr Halluburton was an ass, he isn't totally wrong. I think there are many women who do not feel fulfilled without a man in their lives and who are unwilling to make decisions or take any step without the approval of that man. Is that a handicap? Not necessarily--it is if the woman is miserable and feels unfulfiiled in other aspects of her life. If she is content and happy, it is wrong for anyone to judge her or look down upon her. By the same token, it is totally wrong to judge or look down upon a woman who makes decisions and takes action without the " approval " of a man. Each person must live their life as they think is best for them--man or woman--they owe no explanation to the world.
