I think it is a fitting follow up to Call Me By Your Name. I was a little concerned about the format (separate stories rather than one continuous narrative), but I think Aciman organized the novel well, capturing my interest throughout. The lovely language and the well rendered characters remain.

I enjoyed Find Me very much. It was easy to get into the characters, the paths they were following, and the eventual desinations. Great read!

I think it is a extremely intellectual read. It is very well written. I enjoyed all of the characters and their relationships. I have not read Call Me By Your Name. I wish I had read that first.

It definitely grew on me. There were parts of it that I felt were beautifully written and moving. I can't say the romance between the older man and young woman resonated with me in particular, but the author nailed the other two relationships perfectly.

Since I did not read Call Me By Your Name I was unfamiliar with the author. I have to say I did not really enjoy this book very much. The characters felt a bit superficial and were not given much real depth.

I did not like the book. I enjoyed his portrayal of different kinds of love, but did not enjoy his style. I often found myself speed reading over many pages at a time hoping that the next page turn would engage me. But, it did not.

After reading the front piece reviews I did not know what to expect. However I found Aciman's writing style like being caressed with words. It must be difficult to write a stories utilizing a one person perspective and a lot of dialog and instill so much romantic, yet raw feeling. Perhaps personal experience makes a reader appreciate the age difference in Tempo. The naming of the three stories was interesting. I could understand the first and last but the middle one is still a mystery. I wish I had realized that this was a sequel.

Like others have mentioned, I haven’t read Call Me By Your Name and perhaps would’ve enjoyed this book more if I had. Impossible to say. But with that out of the way, I like this book quite a lot. My only quibble is that the ‘intellectual’ tone of it felt to me a bit like someone putting on airs.

Having read Call Me By Your Name, which I found very interesting and a thoughtful presentation of young love, I expected to have similar feeling about this book. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this book. I understand what the author was trying to present, but I found the book to be pretentious and off-putting. The first part of the story felt unreal to me. The author did not bring the story together for me.

I have not read other work by this author, and was unaware that the characters in this book had been in a previous book. I probably would have enjoyed this book more if I had read the previous one. Some of the writing is quite good -- the way he picks out little character fragments -- but I honestly did not enjoy the story of the father and Miranda. It seemed so forced and implausible.

I, too, feel that I would have benefited from reading Call Me by your Name first. I did not identify with or feel any connection to any of the characters. I felt like the character development was superficial, although I did like the author’s writing style.

Like Debra, I did not particularly like this book. I prefer reading a novel with more of a plot and less examination of the characters inner emotions. Also the Samuel/Miranda story seemed very similar to the Michel/Elio story. Different players but same theme of two people meeting, sharing life stories then falling in love. I found it tiresome after a few hundred pages.

I really enjoyed Find Me! I read Call Me By Your Name, then immediately followed with Find Me. I'm glad I read them close to each other, allowing me to remember all the details of Elio & Oliver's meeting. Both books are beautifully written. This isn't the traditional love story, but it is a real story for many.

I have not read Call Me By Your Name. However, I absolutely love Find Me. I know this is not true, but I feel as if I read the first 75 pages without drawing a breath! I found the story mesmerizing.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, Find Me. I regret not reading the the first book, Call Me By Your Name. I like how the author conveyed that love is typically not simple and most often shows up when we least expect it to.

I was not impressed in the least. There were some lovely glimpses of wisdom but few and far between. There was a lot of skipping around and I wonder if anyone else found it difficult to follow the threads,

I loved this book. I liked the characters and how the book was broken into sections to discuss the characters. I liked the writing style. The stories were told beautifully and it was hard for me to put down. I didn't read the first book and had no difficulty getting involved in the story lines. I will also read the first book. I highly recommend this book.

I think overall, I did enjoy the book... I found it engaging and most of the time very well written.. the story of Miranda and Sami was a little bit unbelievable , but I am more of a down time earth person and honestly just can’t imagine that relationship happening .. I was happy for Sami that he did have so much happiness and love at the end of his life though. I had not read Call me Bu Your Name so didn’t have the prefect for the relationship with Elio, but I could still understand what was going on and follow the story. I plan to read the prequel or watch the movie ( although I suspect it’s not as good as the book) now that I’ve finished Find Me .

This book was beautifully written, and the author was certainly erudite. I enjoyed the story of Samuel and Miranda the most. Not having read Call Me By Your Name, I was uninformed about the previous relationships of the characters and think I might have enjoyed this book more, had I read the other book first.

I appreciate getting a copy of the book to read but I got to page 100 and had to put it down. I didn't like it at all and was pushing through until I gave up. Sorry.

I had not read the first book but found I could take pleasure in this one without the background knowledge. I particularly liked the first narrative.

I had read Call Me By Your Name and for that reason think I might have been a little disillusioned by Find Me. It was not what I expected at all. I think the section of Elio and Oliver came far to late with far too little.

At first I was put off by it being in 3 section. The writing was what kept me reading and I am glad that I finished it. In the end I saw how one part compliments the others. Will add Call Me by Your Name to my reading list.

Overall - neutral would be my word. Parts of the book resonated and captured my attention, other parts I skimmed.
