What would Norma think about an alcoholic beverage being named after their run-in with Henry Kaufman?

The author created a signature cocktail for the book called the New Jersey Automobile based on an actual 1910s-era cocktail called the Automobile. What would Norma think about an alcoholic beverage being named after their run-in with Henry Kaufman?

Norma hated having their incident so publicized. Having an alcoholic drink named after it probably was humiliating to her.

She would have been mortified

Norma was horrified at anything that brought attention to the family. I think Norma was trying to preserve the family secret and was afraid that anything that brought attention to them would uncover the secret and turn the family upside down.

I think Norma would have been horrified to learn their run-in was "celebrated" by the creation of an alcoholic drink. She would not have liked the public attention it brought to it.

She would not be amused at the idea of commemorating the unpleasant event in such a frivolous way.

Insult! Humiliation... worse than put in the 'stocks' in the town square. I believe that Norma would never leave home again if that kind of publicity was given to the incident. But what would her headline be? "Liquor intensifies pain"?

Norma would have been humiliated at the thought of being in the public eye and especially having a drink named after her.

Norma would absolutely hate it! She was a very private person and would especially not want to commemorate such a painful experience.

Following barbm's clever lead, I think Norma would quickly devise a newspaper headline stating:

CELEBRATED AUTHOR CHARGED WITH INCITING MAYHEM WHEN DRUNKEN BOOKCLUB MEMBERS FOUND CAVORTING IN STREETS - Members Cite Introduction of Automobile Cocktail at Discussion of Stewart's New Book

She would then affix copies of the headline to several pigeons and send them off with smug satisfaction.

I agree with above- Norma would have hated it, not to mention Francis. Glair eye, on the other hand, would have loved the publicity.
