The Men in The Comfort of Lies

Though this was a book mainly about the three female adult characters I was often more intrigued with the men in their lives. Nathan was the narrator of a couple of the sections but Peter and Bob were also big influencers over the women has they made the decisions regarding their lives and finding their voices.

I thought the male characters were rich and complex. Sometimes male characters in this type of "women's" novel can be cliched, but I thought all of these characters were very well-drawn and compelling.

Kristi - I agree with you that the male characters were rich and complex and I thought true to form for the situations they were in.

I agree with Kristi, but I have to say that Nathan infuriated me.
