Funniest part?

This book is partly a comedy. In your opinion, what is the funniest part?

RE: Funniest part?

This is the thing about this book that disappointed me the most. It did not strike me as very funny. I wish people would post comments so I could go back and look up the "funny" parts.

RE: Funniest part?

I found the funniest part to be when Dexter is playing the parlor game in his fiancee's home and he accidentally smacks her in the face because he is drunk and forgets to say the key words first.

I can't pinpoint any specific passage that I thought was the funniest part, but I did enjoy the banter and the British sense of humor. I thought Emma was particularly witty. But then, I enjoy sarcasm.

I thought every time Emma opened her mouth was hilarious. The letters to Dexter describing the characters in her acting troupe were great, and the scenes from the Mexican restaurant were funny, too. The scene of Emma tripping on the stairs after dinner with Dexter provided comic relief to a tense situation, also.

I loved Emma working at a Mexican in restaurant in London. The description of sour cream was fantastic.

I thought the parlor scene was also funny!
