Was there a character that you particularly disliked?

Was there a character that you particularly disliked? Why?

I did not dislike any particular character, but one of my problems with this book is that I didn't really like any particular character, either. I found the author's style to be very wordy, but I couldn't really get to know his characters.

I liked all of the characters.

I didnt really care for Miranda at first...I thought she was a total cliche of "the free spirit, bohemian girl"... I definitely thought she was playing Samuel, but in the end, I guess she truly did love him.

No. I liked Samuel and Miranda and their story the most, but I didn't dislike anyone in the book.

I can’t say I disliked Elio but he just didn’t live up to my expectations. I did not read (or see the movie) Call Me by Your Name but was aware of the hype. I was enchanted with Miranda and Samuel and preferred Michel over Elio.

I did not really like Miranda throughout the entire first section of the book. I agree that she seemed just too cliche - like she fit the mold of what a free spirited young woman should be. Some of her dialogue just felt very forced.

I was suspicious of Miranda in the beginning and was relieved when all worked out .

I did not particularly care for Michele. It was noting I could put into words, I just liked him less than everyone else.
