I really enjoyed Emily Giffen's book, Meant to Be, a thinly veiled version of the JFK Jr/Carolyn Bessett story and now with Jackie and Me I have moved on to JFK Jr's parents courtship as seen through the eyes of their friend, Lem Billings. This is compelling and …more entertaining reading for people like myself who know much about Kennedy Dynasty stories. This is a beautifully written and interesting perspective about a time period when openness and honesty was neither practiced nor encouraged. Who knows how the future may have turned out if people could have been open about making different decisions back in those times. There was a lot to ponder and I relished doing that.
